Hide & Seek — Found

As some of you may remember I got involved with an event run by Georgina Giles called Hide & Seek. The idea was to cheer up someones January by leaving something creative for them to find. In the end she had quite a few people from across the UK take part.

I decided to drop my photo back where it was taken, the Round Tower down by Portsmouth’s seafront. After a chilly walk I left the photograph to fend for itself with nothing but a cellophane case and a note for protection.

Almost immediately after I had started walking away I overhead someone calling out to their friend that they had found the photo. If you look closely at the next image you can see them walking away with the photograph, hopefully it’s now hanging on their wall.

I can’t believe that there are still Christmas Trees around eight weeks after Christmas, how lazy can you really be? In just two weeks I’ll be a third of the way through the Street Photography Now project, I’d best get looking for somewhere that can house 16 images! If you have any suggestions for exhibition venues then just let me know
